RTG Workspace is a fully customized project and task management platform designed specifically for in-house team collaboration. Inspired by the flexibility and visual approach of Trello, this web application allows teams to track projects through boards and cards, moving tasks seamlessly across workflow stages such as New Orders, In Progress, Ready for Review, and Completed.

Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to update task statuses in real-time, while a dedicated admin panel ensures that managers can oversee timelines, allocate resources, and adjust priorities from a single, centralized dashboard. The platform supports multi-level access controls, enabling different user roles to access only what’s relevant to them—ensuring security, efficiency, and transparency in all operations.

Board & Card System Implementation:

Challenge:

Building a dynamic and interactive drag-and-drop interface for managing project tasks across different workflow columns.
Solution:

Developed a responsive board system with real-time drag-and-drop functionality using JavaScript and PHP, ensuring smooth movement of tasks between statuses without page reloads.

Multi-Role Access Control:

Challenge:

Creating separate dashboards and permission levels for admins and team members while maintaining data security.

Solution:

Implemented a role-based access control (RBAC) system with customized dashboards, ensuring that each user only sees relevant features and data.

Real-Time Task Tracking:

Challenge:

Allowing teams to track task progress, deadlines, and changes as they happen.
Solution:

Integrated real-time updates with an activity log and task assignment notifications, combined with deadline management tools to keep everyone informed.

Results/Conclusion:

With RTG Workspace, in-house teams gained a centralized hub for managing all aspects of project execution.
